Marketing Indaba promise to up-skill marketers

It is time for marketers to take some time out to re-group, gather and learn at the annual Marketing Indaba where this year’s theme is “Engage, Convert, Retain”.

In an increasingly connected marketplace, companies and brands need to engage deeply with their target markets, convert them to become customers in some way and delight them to retain their business for the long run. But this is easier said than done and more complex than ever before. “This year the content and presentations at Marketing Indaba is geared to help marketers on this journey and to give them fresh ideas for their marketing endeavours” says Chris de Klerk, creator and programme director of Marketing Indaba.

This year there will be 16+ speakers over two days sharing their experiences, best practices, advice and tips. The agenda includes areas such as: renewed strategies to reach the crazy consumer, crafting a great marketing story and message, b2b marketing, creating a sticky campaign, rethinking public relations, content marketing trends, Google Analytics for marketers, experiential marketing, user experience and conversions, the future of marketing, customer relations and much more.

Speakers include marketing experts like Doug de Villiers (Interbrand), Gil Oved and Ran Neu-ner (TCC), Rita Doherty (FCB), Charlie Steward (Rogerwilco) as well as top key-note speakers such as Justin Cohen, Lynn Baker and Peter Geldenhuys.
